Our partners support our mission through a variety of methods including land acquisition, research, planting, monitoring of trees and bringing awareness to the alliance. Our vision wouldn’t be possible without the help of everyone involved!
Arboriculture Canada Training and Education ltd. supports Atmos Tree with new ideas, consultation, and increased awareness through their audience. In return, the alliance re invests proceeds to cover the costs associated with planting 2 trees for EVERY tree removed during training courses across Canada.

These industry professionals maintain a lead role within arboriculture promoting safety, innovation, and environmental stewardship. They share our vision and actively endorse the 2:1 tREeCYCLE program. We thank our ambassadors for their continued support and dedication to the environment.
JOHNNY KORTHUIS
Lethbridge Alberta, Canada
Johnny is an entrepreneur, independent contractor, and consultant in the arboriculture industry. He’s a lead instructor with Arboriculture Canada, and owns / operates Korthuis Tree Care. Johnny also has a diverse background in professional adventure sports that support a unique perspective behind his influence as an ambassador.
SEAN STERNA
Redwood Meadows Alberta, Canada
Sean holds a bachelors degree in Earth Sciences which allows him to offer a unique perspective as ambassador for Atmos Tree. Sean is also an entrepreneur, contract climber, and instructor with Arboriculture Canada. In his “free time”, Sean has been a volunteer fire department captain since 2013 specializing in rope / technical rescue and leadership.
NEIL HVENEGAARD
Calgary Alberta, Canada
Neil is most often recognized from his lead instructor role with Arboriculture Canada. Neil owns and operates Springbank Custom Solutions, most often contract climbing and leading various tree companies through technical tree removals in Calgary. Neil was excited to join Atmos Tree as an ambassador so he could promote the planting of more trees since his business focus was mostly on removals. When duty calls, Neil also works with Canada Task Force 2, a global disaster emergency response unit.
